VERSUS PRE S/S 14

Donatella Versace brought Versus back to life, with the helping hand of young designer, J.W Anderson. The collection focused on minimal sex-appeal, with simple, structured clothing and wild hair. The rather, small collection was showcased on a New York night, with music produced by Lady Gaga. Perhaps an insight into 'ARTPOP' and the new Versus.

CHRISTIAN DIOR PRE S/S 14

The house of Dior presented another beautiful collection this year. Designer Raf Simons, had inspiration of classic clothes, with a modern twist. This contemporary edge can be seen, in the forms of bright colours and abstract prints. The collection seems very wearable, with bright pops of colour, perfect for summer.  Hair & make-up was relatively simple, hair combed back, with a bright lip; a make-up trend which has been very popular with Raf.

Love:

I love this look, I think that the metallic panelling on the dress is different. I like the modernity of the dress, in sharp contrast with a classic blazer.

CHANEL PRE S/S 14

Karl Lagerfeld showcased a rather casual collection this year, this was seen through the light materials and simple colours. The models looked clean-cut with short hair, juxtaposed with aphotic make-up. The collection had influences of American-sport, with the final pieces becoming more and more edgier and modern.  However, there were some pieces which were too modern, I'll let the pictures talk for themselves.

Love:

I love this outfit! The colour choice is natural and neutral, thus allowing a woman of any race to wear it. I think the outfit is rather casual, but with the accents of pearls, it adds an element of sophistication.

THE GREAT RETURN

After months of rest, peace and silence; the lady has returned to Gaga. Her hibernation was due to a torn ligament in her upper thigh, during an intense performance of 'Scheiße' on the Born This Way Ball. The superstar has since been hiding, avoiding paparazzi, crowds of fans and her own Twitter account.

THE MET GALA 2013

Besides the CFDA, this is one of the most interesting fashion red carpets. The theme this year was 'Punk: Chaos to Couture', some proved to look amazing, whilst some disappointed. Take a look at some of the most eye-catching looks of the night.

Beyoncé in Givenchy couture. I don't like this look, there is far too much going on. The flames appear to engulf her, rather than accent her body. Just too much for me.

GISELE BÜNDCHEN X H&M

The popular Swedish retail-brand has released images of supermodel Gisele Bündchen, walking through the streets of London. She was seen wearing a thick black coat, looking beautiful as ever, smiling at the camera. She recently tweeted an image of her, saying "Beautiful sunshine in London."
