MTV VMAs 2013

The VMAs are back, wilder and dramatic than ever! With One Direction getting booed on-stage, Miley Cyrus' controversial performance with married man - Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake's vanguard performance. But it was the red carpet that obviously caught my attention, so let's take a look at some of the best and worst looks of the night.

Lady Gaga arrived wearing custom Prabal Gurung, she later thanked him for the dress. I think there are certain elements of this dress that I like - the tied bow around Gaga's waist and the train following the dress. However I'm not amazed by it!

Ciara wears Givenchy couture, it suits her very well! The dress is very sexy, whilst keeping fashion in mind. Her styled hair and make-up choice was just right.
I think the Dior dress is indeed nice, but the hair should have been kept back. Raf Simons always presents the ensemble with simple hair, Jennifer's team should have taken notes.
Katy Perry wears Emanuel Ungaro. I'm not into this look, leopard print is very basic, she looks...average.
Oh dear. I don't even want to know who she's wearing, this is bad.
Miley wears Dolce & Gabbana. I'm sorry boys, but the outfit is bad! The diamantes look cheap and tacky, with her stupid hairstyle. I'm not sure which was worse, the hair at the Met Gala, or this!
Rita Ora arrives in Alexandre Vauthier. Hmm, the colour of the train is very beautiful; soft and evokes innocence. But then that's it, I don't like stark black, or the low cut.
Best look goes to Selena Gomez in Atelier Versace! She's spotted wearing a lot of Versace, Donatella must really like her. The dress suits her very well, it's elegant and audacious. Perfect choice.
Who do you think looked the best?
