MARY KATRANTZOU F/W 13

Mary Katrantzou aimed for a very Eastern-look this season, in the forms of structured dresses and simple hairstyles. Cinematic prints played a huge role in the collection, with most being on dresses. The first look had the model wearing a dress with heavy padding on the shoulders to add masculinity, the print was beautiful pixels of white on black - resembling flowers falling off a jasmine tree. The next look was a strapless dress with a print of a cobbled street in London, the dress itself is very well structured with the use of material.

I love the detailing of the dress and the masculine shoulders.

MULBERRY F/W 13

Mulberry stuns yet again, with this beautiful collection - filled with British heritage, smooth leathers and fine furs. The first look had the model wearing a over-sized coat with fur collars, she wore a knee-length patterned dress with smart shoes and a chic bag. The next look had the model wearing an edgy leather coat with a pleated leather skirt - amazing. Florals were also prominent, being based on darker tones to create the winter atmosphere.

I love the winter feel of this look and those fab heels.

HOUSE OF HOLLAND F/W 13

The House of Holland collection was youthful, fun and very colourful. The main theme for the show was abstract prints, with models donning an influence of it, here and there. Look number had the model wearing a head-to-toe abstract print suit in red, with a similar blue shirt underneath. Green versions of this print came into play as well, in the forms of dresses and skirts - surprisingly wearable.

I like this look, very youthful and very bold.

JASPER CONRAN F/W 13

"Modern sophistication" is one way to describe the Jasper Conran collection, it consisted of smart tailoring with modern shapes, a 'classic' template, would be in a rich tone of bright colours. The first few looks were tailored tops with large collars, this is worn with a pleated skirt of the same colour and finished with simple flats.

I love the sophisticated of this outfit, truly timeless

MICHAEL KORS F/W 13

Wow, this collection is amazing. The designs were modern with leather, mixed with soft cotton and bold hits of colour. It also had 2 tonal materials and colours, along with futuristic sunglasses. The show opened with male model Simon Nessman and Karmen Pedaru wearing blue designs, Simon wore an over-sized black coat, with a blue turtle-neck. Karmen wore a blue tee, with leather accents on the front, and a blue zipped-skirt. Both were wearing black sunglasses.
Karmen looks bold and strong in the colour choice, whereas Simon looks engulfed in knitwear, the coat is also a little too big.

VICTORIA, VICTORIA BECKHAM F/W 13

Clean, crisp, sharp - these are the words to describe the latest collection by Victoria Beckham. The models looked fresh and innocent with simple and clean make-up. The collection was sharp and smart, with a heavy influence of sophistication. Most looks had models donning a pair of black knee-high boots, which were of course leather. The other few, wore sharp classic pumps.

Sharp and very clean, I like this look.

MARC JACOBS F/W 13

The Marc Jacobs show had a very sexy element to it, with lots of skin on show and tight bodycons. To add a juxtaposition, he included innocent sleep-wear style tops, with matching bottoms. The models looked pure with the simple haircut, but rough and edgy with dark make-up. The first few looks had prominent touches of metallics, combined with suede to soften the edge.
Love the metallic shirt in contrast with the material of the shorts.

DKNY F/W 13

When the screen lit up and model Cara Delevinge emerged, the DKNY show began. The first look consisted of three colours; white, cream and black. She was wearing a clean white shirt, under a cream blazer teamed with tight, black suit pants. Throw a matching coat and ankle boots and it was look number one. Donna then showed modern pieces, using the same colour pallet with the additional subtle material of leather. The looks were very modern and fresh, with a classic a touch of masculine tailoring to them.

Cara looks amazing, the tailoring of the outfit is well-done. She looks smart and bold with the colour choice

ALEXANDER WANG F/W 13

The show began with heavy knits, with colours of grey, white and black. The models looked very cold and icy, donning black, fur elbow-high gloves. Until the burst of tan came from a leather jacket, teamed with a knit hoodie and matching pants.

Very icy look, covering most of the model in knitwear.

PRABAL GURUNG F/W 13

Prabal Gurung is among my favourite designers, and this year, he did not fail to impress. The first few looks were very strong at showcasing military influences, through the use of colours, leather and masculinity. Keeping with the same tone, he added ethnic designs to the looks, giving them an interesting twist. The looks also had very subtle silk element to them, off-setting the masculinity, adding a touch of feminine.

I love the thigh-high boots here, very strong and unique. A turtle-neck with reveals on the shoulder, which is rather different.

JASON WU F/W 13

The show featured monochrome pieces, with splashes of deep red and tanned tones. The initial pieces were strong and bold, with the models wearing fitted trousers, a fur jacket and a clean shirt below; very reminiscent to Karl Lagerfeld. The show then moved onto sexy evening wear, with short hemlines and black booties, so extenuate a woman's legs.

I love the masculinity of this outfit, the chic tailoring, with subtle leather and a bold collar. The use of simple colours, will create a timeless outfit.
