JUST CAVALLI F/W 13

Roberto Cavalli showed a rather wearable collection this fall with dramatic coats and ornate prints. The essence of the show was sexy and feminine. The first look had the model wearing a coat with ornate detailing along the sleeves and fur along the hood. She wore it over a matching print dress and finished with fur booties. The next instalment had the model wearing a ornate, baroque print pant-suit. It was well tailored and given an interesting twist with the amount of print.
I love the fur to off balance the amount of the ornate print. The coat is very bold and wearable.

Bold tiger print also appeared in the forms of tailored trousers and bold dresses. The trousers were worn this a white, thick cable-knit jumper with ornate print sleeves. The dress was more bold, being simply worn with knee-length snakeskin boots and accessorised with small clutch.

The collection also had East-Asian influences with the utilisation of dragon prints. A graphic dragon top with leather sleeves was teamed with royal blue leather pants. The top is somewhat reminiscent to Kenzo's famous tiger print jumper. Another use of the print was on a darker shade of cerulean, with a print of a dragon on a large jumper. She was accessorised with an over-sized orange and yellow scarf, with fur booties.

Tones of red were the final colour choice for Cavalli's collection, in the forms of an oversized red coat with fur along the hood. Also on red detailing on black trousers, these had dragon print on them. The final look had the model wearing a red dress, with lace embroidery, she was finished with a pair of black peep-toe heels.

The print is very bold and unique. It seems like it'd be perfect for street-style.

The outfit is very nice, with the pop of colour from the skirt. Something I can see Miroslava Duma wearing.
Wow, I love this dress! Park Bom would look amazing in this!
Ming Xi looks great in this outfit, the pants make the top very bold. With the brute contrast of the sleeves.
The print with the cut of this dress is very...tacky. I think there is too much skin for such a dress.
I'd prefer a black coat with the pants, I think the colour choice is too modern for the detailing of the trousers.
I love the top, I think the leather sleeves modernizes the look. The pants help to extenuate this.
Nothing very special here, it doesn't look expensive. Which is very bad.
The coat is very nice, with the red baroque. Very wearable.
I prefer the trousers without the detailing, a little overwhelming with the baroque jacket.
The classic Cavalli silhouette with red base and black detailing. Nothing special going on here
