Paris is here! (Although I know it was months ago) Today's review is Guy Laroche, I loved this collection with the use of leather and bright colours, to the furs with bondage accents. The first look had the model wearing a a zipped dress with with leather detailing on the chest. She wore a suede coat with fur lining, all matching in tones of navy blue. The next model also wore a similar look, she wore a softer dress, with a suede coat and simple court heels.

I like this whole outfit, I adore the modernity of the top!
Just 3 looks in, the next model appeared in a bright fuchsia ensemble. She wore a bright turtle-neck, with loose smart trousers, she also wore a brightly coloured jacket, with black heels. A very bold look indeed. The following looks used the same silhouette, with the outerwear being different - for example the over-sized fuchsia biker jacket.
Black leather! I am already in love, the first look had the model appearing in a sheer silk blouse, with strong leather pants. I like the contrast between the femininity of the top, with the strong and rather masculine pants. Further leather looks appeared, only in less amounts. The outfits were proportional with the amount of feminine in contrast with masculinity. The outfits had an element of sophistication, with mass sex appeal.

Navy camouflage was also very prominent on the Parisian runway, very similar to Michael Kors F/W 13. The outfits appeared to be silk, which looked very light and cool. Most were tied in at the waist, in matching print. The designs looked casual and very, very bold. Snakeskin also appeared, these were worn with white tops. The material was used on blazers, trousers and skirts.

Embellishments was the final choice for Guy Laroche, these looked amazing on simple material outfits. The penultimate look had the model wearing a navy sleeved dress with a bondage style top on top. This had cut-outs to add modernity, with 2 tonal materials. The final look of the season had the model wearing navy pants, with just a bondage top. The top was covered in beautiful diamonds, very matronly with the masculine pants.

Very similar to the first look, this is much more wearable though
What a great colour choice! The overall look is great
Perfect! Something as vunerable and light as sheer, in contrast with hard leather is super sexy!
Masculine will always draw me in, I love the amount of leather used, with such simple heels
I was never too keen on army prints, what do you think?
I like the raw material of the pants, with the lightness of the blouse.
This looks very Michael Kors to me, similar to the final look Karlie wore.
I like this look, the top makes it look different.
Very eye-catching, but not my style!

Many more posts to come!

  1. I'm really enjoying the design and layout of your website. It's a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Outstanding work!

    1. That means so much to me! I did it all myself! I hope you like it :-)
